The mission of Monterey Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine is to centralize and streamline the compassionate care of patients utilizing the most advanced procedures available nation-wide. Patient education begins upon entering the office, from prevention or treatment of injuries, to pre and post-operative instruction, should surgery be necessary.

Through minimally invasive joint-replacement surgery, Dr. Chaplan can operate using smaller incisions and smaller instrumentation, causing less damage to the surrounding tissue and muscle. This can reduce post-operative pain and allow for faster recovery time.
